Behind the beauty we create at J.Cob is the innovative vision of our founder, Jakab Imola. In 2020, Imola turned her dream into reality, opening the doors of the J.Cob salon in Shopping City, and bringing customers the full experience they dreamed of for the first time.

At J.Cob, we believe that the relationship between expert and client transcends mere interaction; it becomes a shared journey towards the best enhancement of authentic beauty. Each member of our team is not only a professional stylist but also a trusted advisor and confidant, able to guide you correctly to the style that suits you.

Imola has set up a space where every meeting is based on trust and professionalism, where you can enjoy impeccable service with minimal effort and time on your part.

How did this journey start?

Completed hairstyling school before high school graduation. Started offering hairstyling services from home and collaborated with three different salons after finishing high school.

Opened the J.Cob Cut N Go salon in Shopping City with an initial team of three colleagues. Over the initial challenges, the team has grown to nine specialists.

Opened the first salon on Bolyai Street, beginning the conceptualization of the J.Cob brand.

Over the years, we have created approximately 20,000 hairstyles.

Beyond hairstyles

At J.Cob, we strongly believe in the power of giving back to the community that has supported us over the years.

Our commitment manifests itself through various bold initiatives and projects, including charitable ones, through which we share our expertise and contribute to the well-being and improvement of the quality of life in our community.

Partnership with Erdély TV

For over a decade, we have been working closely with Erdély TV, doing the presenters’ hair before each show.

Szivárvány Initiative

I created hairstyles at the Szivárvány Foundation for disadvantaged women, offering them, in addition to hair care products, advice.

Support for the Red Nose Association

We have raised funds for the Nas Roșu Association, contributing to the organization of camps that bring smiles to children’s faces.

Consultative events

The Ask the Specialist event series was a platform through which we provided free access to styling advice and scalp examinations to share knowledge and improve the lives of clients and the community.

Free eye examinations

In partnership with Vizual Med, we facilitated over 30 free eye exams in the salon, laying the foundation for better health for our community.

Festivals and events

Our active participation in events such as the Erdély Hangja show and the Kult Festival demonstrates once again our desire to be present where the community calls us, contributing to what we do best.
